| The
sixth volume of War Speeches, containing speeches Churchill
made in 1945. The first
edition of VICTORY was published by Cassell
in 1946. It follows the series binding in pale blue
cloth, with a similar dustwrapper of medium blue blending
to violet.. There were no reprints in England.
The first
American edition was
similar to the previous volumes, and is the most difficult
to obtaon of the US speech volumes..
The
Canadian first edition
continued the series binding and jacket style. The Australian
first edition now had a dustwrapper style
very similar to the British, but the binding was a,
rather than the pale blue of the English.
