| FOR
FREE TRADE is the second scarcest of all Churchill's books.
Published in 1906, it was really a privately published
political pamphlet, with the same appearance as MR. BRODRICK'S
ARMY. Less than 50 first editions are believed to exist
I have only had two copies in the past 20 years. Fortunately,
a facsimile reprint, which can correctly be called the
1st American edition, makes this work available to collectors.
This was published in both standard
cloth binding and deluxe
3 piece binding. I have also produced a special
binding from The Collected Works which offers this
and 4 other scarce early titles in one book at
modest cost, but this is now sold and there is a wait
list for second hand copies. |
