Using the French text from Plon, it was completely reset in massive volumes, 10 x 13 ins, with text in two columns, numerous b/w photos, and a tipped in colour plate for the frontis. Bound in dark red pebble grain material stamped in black and gold. Usually seen in 3 volumes, a far smaller number seem to have been bound in 4 volumes. Clean crisp set, very attractive. (A123BE).
