An eye-opening book by the proprietor of The Daily Mail, written shortly after the outbreak of the war, in which he recounts his uphill struggle in support of rearming. Churchill writes a nice forward and uses “we” to describe their common struggle. Bound in black cloth with white spine, 190 pages, photos. Woods B32/1, Cohen B68. Book has condensation marks on covers, some marks on page edges, no names. Dustwrapper is well worn with cracks, tears and some chips along edges, top inch of spine is gone. Item #18738
