Thornton Butterworth, London, 1923-1941, Complete set of mixed editions, selected for best appearance and condition. Vols 1-5 are Thornton Butterworth reprints, and vol 6 is the Macmillan issue from 1941 using Butterworth sheets and the same binding cloth. All have clean blue spines with bright gilt, vol 2 only has some condensation marks on the front cover. Bindings are tight, page edges even, but vols 2,3,4,6 have some of the usual spotting. (A31ab).
