Bound in the same carmine red cloth as ROVING COMMISSION, with the same proclivity to fade. Less common than the English edition and truly scarce in fine condition. 320 pages, frontis portrait. Cloth is clean, gilt dull but clear, lacks free endpaper, owner name blind embossed on half title, contenst clean, paper white, no foxing.
