Spears was liaison to the French Army and discusses the problems between the allies at length. Churchill writes a 3 page introduction which takes a counter position on Lloyd George to the author’s. Bound in dark red cloth, gilt on spine, 640 pages, index, photos, maps. Woods B33, Cohen B67. Book is a fine crisp copy with white even edges, bright gilt, no names, good maroon top page edges. Dustwrapper has the brightest spine I have seen, just a hint of tanning, is clipped, no tears or losses. Item #32674
