An eye-opening book by the proprietor of The Daily Mail, written shortly after the outbreak of the war, in which he recounts his uphill struggle in support of rearming. Churchill writes a nice forward and uses “we” to describe their common struggle. Bound in black cloth with white spine, 190 pages, photos. Woods B32/1, Cohen B68. Book has the usual spotting on the white spine, endpapers browned, some spots on page edges. Dustwrapper is unclipped, well worn with losses and chips and a tear in the middle of the spine. (B32/1).
