Bound in mustard yellow cloth with gilt titles on spine only. There are 22 maps, many folding and some in two colours. 381 pages, index, appendices. For those wanting a hardbound copy to read, the choice is between these 1949 or 51 printings. Book is very clean and crisp with clear legible gilt titles, page edges even but tanned, endpapers tanned, no names or markings. Dustwrapper is unclipped, well worn with flaking along rear joint, losses ate spine ends, spine browned and dull. (A2da.4). Item #35064
