With such an incredibly small issue, and most sets sold to Libraries, thus has become a minor modern rarity. Less attractive than the English, they are bound in black spines over red cloth sides with gilt stamping on the spines only. Book s are clean, tight, unworn, gilt very clear but not shiny as is usually the case. Owner name on each free endpaper. Page tops retain the yellow color, foredges are off-white. NO Djs.. (A136b).
