Issued as a part work by Purnell, the whole set is housed in a set of 7 special blue binders sold by the publishers With additional material not by Churchill, and numerous illustrations many in colour, on coated paper. The binders are 13 inches tall, 2 inches thick. the set is heavy. The blue binders have great shelf appearance with bright silver stamping on the spines, but not perfect as there are some small carcks at ends of joints.
