Cassell, London, 1946, paperback. The first collected edition of the War Speeches, published as a paperback only in 1946. It is believed that most copies were exported. 5.5 x 8.5 inches in pale blue paper wraps with turn in flaps like a dj over plain paper covers, 271 pages, on cheap pulpy paper which is usually browned. Pale blue paper wraps have rubbing near edges and lots of spots on rear cover. About one third of spine is gone. The paper is well browned as usual. Front cover nearly seperated. (A113). Item #36530
