Little Brown, Boston, 1946, 1st American edition. Bound like previous volumes of war speeches from Little, Brown: red cloth with gilt titles in black panels. 307 pages. Book is in fine condition, covers unmarked, gilt bright, no names, no spots. Dustwrapper is unclipped, and most importantly the red spine panel is just as bright as the front cover. Slight wear at the head of spine and a small chip gone at the top of the fold to the front flap, and two closed tears along the bottom edge of the rear panel. (A112b). Item #36709
