This is the second issue with two appendices and no index. 152 pages, 6 x 8.75 inches, printed on pulpy acidic paper which is always browned as a result. Wraps are chrome yellow printed green and black This is the third scarcest of Churchill’s first editions, after the two great rarities. Front cover has good bright colour, small loss at lower right corner, some loss at bottom fof front joint affecting both cover and spine, which has lost about 3 mm at the top and 15mm at the bottom. Rear cover complete, The paper is less browned and more supple than most, binding is firm. (A16ab). Item #50077
