J.W. Cappelens, Oslo, 1936. hardcover. Similar in size and format to the Danish edition, but an even better binding with red leather spines, text in two columns, numerous tipped-in colour plates. Probably the most elegant version of The Great War, but having carried these through Oslo, I can also recommend them for arm muscle building. 9 x 11.5 inches, weight just under 13 lbs. The leather is dried and has some splits and abrasion, contents clean. (A31no). Item #5791
