Hasselbalch, Copenhagen, 1948-1954, Large sumptuous presentation of Churchill’s war memoirs in Danish. Large books, 8 x 11.5 inches, text in two columns, numerous photos, high quality paper. This is the publishers binding in half brown leather with patterned boards. Exceptional set with original brown paper dustjackets over the leather bindings. Nearly all of these jackets were discarded to display the attractive bindings. Books are crisp and unworn, DJs are browned on spines with some chips and cracks along edges. The wrapper on vol. II is from another volume so not 100% correct. (A123DA). Item #5848
