For obvious reasons, a German edition was unlikely to be published in Germany in 1940, so this was published in Holland in early 1940, prior to the invasion later that year. Good unfaded color with no fading on spine, no foxing, no names, some brown stains on covers. Has a Swiss bookseller label. This is strongest shade copy I have. (A45GE). Item #5933
