This is the Manuscript edition and includes a piece from the original manuscript mounted in the prelims of volume I. Top edges gilt,foredges untrimmed, ribbon place marker, plain tan heavy endpapers. A deluxe edition with a color frontis plate on heavy stock in each volume, and b/w plates with tissue guards within text . Spines have excellent color and shiny gilt. Bindings are very tight, contenst clean and unmarked. No names, no writing. There is some abrasion at corners, and vol. I has a split at top of back joint. Item #F11301
