THE DAWN OF LIBERATION

The fifth volume of War Speeches, containing speeches Churchill made in 1944. The first edition of THE DAWN OF LIBERATION was published by Cassell in 1945. It follows the series binding in pale blue cloth, with a similar dustwrapper of yellow blending to dark blue. There was one later printing, but not often seen..

The first American edition was similar to the previous volumes. The Canadian first edition continued the series binding and jacket style. The Australian first edition now had a dustwrapper style very similar to the British, but the binding was a bright light blue, rather than the pale blue of the English.
