FRONTIERS AND WARS

A compilation containing abridged editions of Churchill's four early military histories was published in 1962 as FRONTIERS AND WARS, but contains no new material. The UK publisher was Eyre and Spotiswoode. Bound in grey cloth with a laminated white dustjacket that has proven extremely prone to cracks. Any copy with a fine undamaged jacket should be snapped up immediately. The American edition in black cloth with a black dustjacket is probably more attractive, and certainly holds up better.
